Resources, such as training modules and policy documents, are accessible through the platform’s Learning Centre. To access the Learning Centre, log in to your EquiTrack account and select the Learning Centre tab from the main menu.

The Learning Centre is a resource hub for the Code of Conduct. The Learning Centre includes reports, recorded videos and action plans on DEI topics. These are to help organisations improve their knowledge and implement.

This Code of Conduct is part of BLiM’s ongoing efforts to combat discrimination and promote a diverse and inclusive work environment in the UK music industry. The Code of Conduct outlines commitments to fostering safety, inclusion, and equity in the music industry, with specific policies addressing pay equity, anti-racism, and transparent contracts.

Use the search bar or browse categories like “Ethics” or “Mental Health” to find the relevant sections.

The scoring system is indicative of your performance within each section of the BLIM Anti-racism Code of Conduct. These scores are added up, then averaged out, to give an overall score.

Since each section covers different subject matter each section has its own criteria. One section may be scored simply off two questions, whereas others will be from a combination of questions.

The scoring for each section is explained in a little more detail, and how you can improve your score.

The benchmark shows a minimum standard that everyone should be meeting. It should not be mistaken for success, and everyone can improve in many areas.

Similarly, the scoring system isn’t perfect, it’s a guide that works for most people most of the time. Everyone should engage with the learning centre to sharpen their knowledge, skills and procedures.

The results page will show a breakdown of your score and which metrics you score low on in accordance with the Code of Conduct. Clicking on the relevant sections within the Learning Centre will provide you with resources that will help you improve your score. For tailored advice, please email equitrack@blim.org.uk
