Access Producer

Salary: £200 per dayHours: Freelance fixed term contract for 70 days, from May 2025 to March 2026.

Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra are looking for a talented freelance Access Producer to deliver exceptional access for musicians/artists and participants on an exciting series of projects.

 

The Access Producer will lead on the access and coordination of projects, identifying and removing barriers for D/deaf, Disabled and Neurodivergent musicians and participants, and coordinating project planning, delivery and evaluation. Projects will include: a tour of schools and public performances in Summer 2025, an inclusive side-by-side orchestral playing weekend, and working with our groundbreaking professional ensemble BSO Resound.

We’re looking for someone with proven ability to deliver exceptional experiences for D/deaf, disabled, and neurodiverse musicians/artists and participants, and the passion, skills and confidence to drive forward these exciting projects and work with the BSO to develop our inclusive practice. The BSO is committed to improving equality, diversity and inclusion and values diversity in its workforce. Freelance fixed term contract for 70 days, from May 2025-Mar 2026. Estimated at 1-2 days per week, increasing during periods of project delivery.

Location; Hybrid working, plus project locations around the Southwest
