Guildhall Young Artists Norwich, is the city’s exciting Saturday performing arts centre
offering a range of classes and performance opportunities for 5-to-18-year old’s from
across Norfolk and beyond. Based at City of Norwich School young people develop
their individual creativity and access high quality training across a variety of styles
and genres.

 

We seek to appoint an energetic and dynamic musician, drama or production arts
practitioner and administrator with a strong track-record of education sector delivery
and organisational development to ensure that Guildhall Young Artists Norwich
provides an excellent creative education to every child and young person who
attends.

 

The successful candidate will be committed to developing young students, from a
variety of backgrounds, to reach their full potential. They will be a self-starter with
excellent communication skills, who can build positive relationships with
parents/carers, staff, students, and partners, and will maintain a culture which fosters
collaboration, innovation, diversity, and a lateral approach to problem solving.

 

The new leader of this growing centre will manage a varied portfolio of tasks,
including Safeguarding, an upcoming centre venue move, and management
responsibilities (including budgeting).  He/She will have a proven track record as a
practitioner and educator, have sound artistic judgement and a passion for
encouraging artistic excellence in a creative work environment.
