About the Roles:

Become part of our dynamic team as a peripatetic music teacher.  You’ll enjoy diverse teaching opportunities across a range of settings on our team. Your role will encompass whole class instrumental tuition, ensemble leading, small groups, and individual tuition. These vacancies promise a fulfilling opportunity to nurture and develop young musicians.

 

Drum Teacher – Salaried

This role is based primarily in the Ashford area at the Ashford Music Centre on Wednesday evenings, there is also potential for expansion into schools in the surrounding areas.

  • Job Title: Instrumental Teacher – Drums
  • Place/s of work: Ashford area
  • Salaried Teaching Hours: 11.5 teaching hours per week
  • Fraction: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties
  • Salary: £25,620 to £31,191 pro rata

 

Guitar Teacher – Salaried

Based primarily in the Ashford and Swale area, you’ll teach in multiple schools with potential for expansion into surrounding areas.

  • Job Title: Instrumental Teacher – Guitar
  • Place/s of work: Ashford and Swale area
  • Salaried Teaching Hours: 11.5 teaching hours per week
  • Fraction: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties
  • Salary: £25,620 to £31,191 pro rata

 

Violin Teacher – Variable Hours

This role is based primarily in the Ashford area at the Ashford Music Centre on Wednesday evenings, there is also potential for expansion into schools in surrounding areas.

  • Job Title: Instrumental Teacher – Violin (Variable Hours)
  • Place/s of work: Ashford area
  • Variable Teaching Hours: minimum of 2.75 hours per week
  • Hourly rate: £23.30 to £29.64 (plus 6 weeks holiday pay)

 

Woodwind Teacher – Salaried

This role is based primarily in the Ashford area. You teach in multiple schools and at the Ashford Music Centre on Wednesday evenings. There is also potential for expansion into surrounding areas.

  • Job Title: Instrumental Teacher – Woodwind
  • Place/s of work: Ashford area
  • Salaried Teaching Hours: 11.5 teaching hours per week
  • Fraction: 0.4 FTE inclusive of working hours for other duties
  • Salary: £25,620 to £31,191 pro rata
