Skills Development Intern
Attitude is Everything is excited to offer an opportunity to join our growing team in a paid intern position within our new volunteering and skills development programme. The new ‘Beyond the Music’ programme has been made possible by funding from The National Lottery Community Fund – Reaching Communities.
About the Intern Role
This post is to enable an ambitious Deaf/disabled volunteer to gain paid experience of work in a charity supporting access to live music, providing a next step towards employment in the live music industry. It will serve the ambitions of our new volunteering and skills development programme, Beyond the Music, supporting accessible volunteering opportunities.
We actively encourage applications from Deaf and disabled people and those with access requirements. Assistance will be offered to those who wish to apply to the Access to Work scheme so that any access requirements can be met. Our application pack supplies information on Attitude is Everything, the Beyond the Music project and the context for this post, and full details on salary, terms and entitlements.
This role was originally conceived to support our work at festivals. Due to the uncertainty of the re-opening timetable, we have rewritten the role to support the project as a whole but we hope that onsite festival work can still be a key element of what you do in the role.
The role is funded for eleven weeks but we aim to be flexible if this timescale clashes with education or other areas of your life.
The closing date is midnight, Sunday 20th June.
