We are pleased to welcome the Royal College of Music (RCM), who have joined us as our newest members.

Globally renowned conservatoire, the RCM trains gifted musicians for international careers as performers, conductors and composers. With a student body of over 900 individuals from 50+ countries, led by a distinguished faculty – which includes globally acclaimed professors – the RCM cultivates a dynamic community of talented and progressive musicians, supporting the next generation of talent.

“Black Lives in Music are excited to be working in partnership with the Royal College of Music. It’s a world leader in its field and a key part of the UK music sector ecosystem. We look forward to supporting it in its inclusion and representation work, and equally, we look forward to working together to be part of the drive for much-needed change in the wider industry.”
