We are proud to announce a partnership between Music for All and Black Lives in Music. Through this partnership, we are joining forces to further increase our reach throughout the UK. We are developing a number of projects, including a new awards category targeting diverse community based groups from the global majority.
Music for All General Manager, Sonali Banerjee, writes: ‘Throughout the UK, numerous communities of musicians simply cannot realise their music-making ambitions due to lack of resources. Through this partnership, we aim to maximise opportunity and create a level playing field for communities from the global majority, enabling an increasing number of music-makers to receive the support they need. We are delighted to be supported by Black Lives in Music in amplifying the availability of this award and look forward to developing our partnership work with them’.
